Understanding the specific layout and traversal tools needed for each location makes finishing this mission significantly easier.
Deploying the LiDAR Scanner on Dam Battlegrounds
The first scanner must be deployed at the highest point of the Control Tower within the Dam Battlegrounds map. Players need to enter the facility, navigate past the staff room corridor, and locate a breachable door leading to the central shaft. Riding the zipline upward allows access to the rooftop area where the scanner tripod is situated.
Caution is advised when ascending the tower, as defensive turrets and rival players frequently guard the passageway. Eliminating automated threats before taking the zipline prevents taking heavy damage during the climb. Once at the top, interact with the tripod to set up the first scanner.
Reaching the Communications Tower in Spaceport
The second location brings players to the Communications Tower situated on the eastern side of Spaceport near Container Storage. This objective requires climbing a prominent yellow ladder attached to the main structure. Because this area sits further from central hotspots, encounter risks are slightly reduced.
Ascend the ladder to reach the elevated platform where the designated setup point is located. Place the scanner onto the tripod to mark the second objective complete. Extraction is not strictly required between steps, allowing players to focus directly on completing tasks.
Scaling the Galleria Sign in Buried City
The final objective located in Buried City requires players to bring a zipline tool before deploying into the map. Head toward the Galleria building and climb up to the rooftop area. From the roof, aim your zipline toward the high circular walkway on the massive Galleria sign.
Carefully ride the zipline across and land firmly on the narrow walkway to avoid falling. Interact with the final tripod to complete the deployment. Successfully installing all three devices completes the Eyes in the Sky quest and grants valuable medical and utility rewards.
